Road Closure Update – North of North Filming

March 2, 2026 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents that due to inclement weather, the previously scheduled road closures for the filming of North of North have been rescheduled.

The road closure for Simonie Michael Lane, originally planned for March 2 and 3, will now take place on March 3 and 4, from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

The road closures for Jack Anawak Street and Niaqunngusiariaq Road will now take place on March 4, from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Maps highlighting the affected areas are provided below.

Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes and may experience minor delays in the affected areas. The City thanks residents for their patience and understanding.
