Full Road Closure and Traffic Control on Sivumugiaq Street (formerly Federal Road)

August 14, 2022 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

 

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents of the road closures and traffic control measures being implemented along Sivumugiaq Street (formerly Federal Road) - from the 4-corners intersection to Nunavut Drive to allow sewer upgrades to be performed. This is a continuation of the sewer upgrades along Niaqunngusiariaq Street through to Allanngua Street

 

Local traffic will still be able to access business buildings throughout the duration of work. Detour routes provided are along Kangiq & Iniq Drive and Nunavut Drive. The site layout and traffic control plan is shown below. These measures are anticipated to be in effect between:

 

• August 15 – August 18
