Victoria Day Office Closure – May 18

May 14, 2026 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

 

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents that City offices will be closed to the public on Monday, May 18, 2026, in observance of Victoria Day.

The Aquatic Centre will be open on May 18 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. All other recreation facilities will be closed.

Residential water and service services, as well as garbage collection, will operate on their regular schedules and are not affected by City office closures. The landfill will be closed and will resume normal hours on Tuesday, May 19.
