Traffic Advisory: Santa Claus Parade and Santa Visit
December 13, 2024 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit would like to inform residents of potential traffic delays due to the Santa Claus Parade on Saturday, December 14, 2024.

Parade Details:
  • Start Time: 12:00 PM
  • Route: The parade will depart from the Arctic Winter Games Complex, travel towards the Four Corners intersection, turn left onto Queen Elizabeth Way, and conclude at the Nakasuk School parking lot.

Following the parade, a Santa Claus visit will take place at the Elders Qammaq, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Traffic and Safety Notice: Residents are kindly requested to respect participants and refrain from cutting in between or alongside parade floats to ensure everyone's safety.
