Toonik Tyme Civic Holiday cancelled
April 20, 2021 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

 

The City of Iqaluit has cancelled the Toonik Tyme Civic Holiday due to the COVID-19 outbreak in Iqaluit and the cancellation of the Toonik Tyme Festival.

 

This means that residents will receive trucked-services for water, sewer and roadside garbage pickup on the regular uninterrupted schedule on Friday, April 23, 2021.

 

City offices are still closed to the public due to the closures ordered by the Chief Public Health Officer.
