Temporary Trucked Services Delay
February 20, 2026 – Iqaluit, Nunavut
The City of Iqaluit would like to inform residents that trucked services are operating this morning with reduced staffing levels. As a result, some areas may not receive service today.
Our crews are prioritizing neighbourhoods and units that did not receive service yesterday to ensure those most impacted are addressed first. We sincerely thank residents for their patience and understanding as our team works hard to restore regular service levels as quickly as possible.
Residents on trucked services are kindly asked to conserve water where possible until service resumes. Your cooperation helps support the entire community during this time.
The City currently has helper positions available within Trucked Services. Residents who are interested in supporting this essential service are encouraged to apply at City Hall.
