Reduced Aquatic Centre Programming – Mar 8-16

March 3, 2026 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

 

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents that programming at the Aquatic Centre swimming pool will be significantly reduced from March 8 to March 16, 2026, due to the Arctic Winter Games.

During this time, many of our staff members and community volunteers will be participating in and supporting the Games. As a result, all evening programming (3:45 PM onward, daily) will be cancelled throughout this period.

Daytime programming will continue as scheduled unless otherwise posted.

We are incredibly proud of the dedication and spirit our staff and community volunteers bring to this important northern event. The Arctic Winter Games are a meaningful celebration of northern culture, athleticism, and community, and we thank residents for their understanding and support while we contribute to its success.

Regular Aquatic Centre programming will resume following March 16, 2026. The City thanks residents for their continued understanding and support.
