Potential Traffic Delays Due To Parade For The Arctic Winter Games Athletes

February 2nd, 2023 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

 

The Department of Recreation is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a parade and athlete event on Sunday February 5th, 2023 to Celebrate Nunavuts AWG athletes

The Iqaluit Recreation Department would like to advise residents of the possibility of traffic delays due to barricades along the parade route.

The parade will be departing from Iqaluit Square at 2pm, and will  head towards the four corners. From here where it will turn right on to the main road and head up to the AWG Complex. Following the parade, there will be a meet and greet with the athletes in the AWG Lobby, there will be hot beverages, along with snacks served.
