Partial Road Closure – Niaqunngusiariaq Road (AWG Complex)
May 12, 2025 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents of a partial road closure on Niaqunngusiariaq Road, in the area of the Arctic Winter Games Complex, from Wednesday, May 14 to Saturday, May 17, 2025.

This closure is necessary to allow for the installation of a new culvert.

Please note that two-way traffic will be maintained throughout the construction period. The contractor will ensure that there is sufficient space for vehicles to travel safely in both directions around the worksite. Drivers are asked to proceed with caution and follow all posted signage.
