Notice for Roadwork by Ventures-Co-op
December 1, 2020 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

 

Residents are advised of roadwork on Queen Elizabeth Way, between Kuugalaaq Street and Nipisia Street, to allow for the replacement of a water main. This work will take place from Thursday, December 3, 2020 to Tuesday, February 9, 2021.

 

This is the road in front of Ventures Co-op between CBC building and DJ’s.

 

The road will remain open for one-way eastbound traffic only (uphill towards DJ’s) during this time.

 

A detour for westbound traffic will direct vehicles through Kuugalaaq Street and Nipisia Street (please see attached map).

 

The work site will be contained by barricades to protect the pedestrians and vehicle traffic from the work zone. Detour signs will be in place to direct traffic.
