National Indigenous Peoples Day Events

June 19, 2025 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit Recreation Department invites the community to celebrate National Indigenous People’s Day with organized events on Saturday, June 21st, 2025.

Below is an event schedule for events, hosted by the City of Iqaluit, on Saturday, June 21st, 2025:

   10:00AM to 12:00PM: Jimmy Kilabuk Run at Sylvia Grinnell
   1:00PM to 3:00PM: Community Feast at the Town Square
   1:00PM to 2:00PM: Elders Bingo at the Elders Qammaq
   1:00PM to 4:00PM: Music at Big Top Tent
   2:30 PM to 4:30 PM: Free Turf at the AWG Arena
   4:00 to 5:30: Inuit Games Competition
   1:15 PM – 2:15 PM, 2:30 PM – 3:30PM, 3:45 PM – 4:45 PM : Free Swims at the Aquatic Centre
