Municipal Enforcement Hosts Bike Rodeo
June 15, 2023 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The school year is coming to a close, which means that Iqaluit’s youngest residents are going to be taking to the streets on two wheels. Bike season is here!

That’s why on June 13th, Iqaluit Municipal Enforcement Officers and their Iqaluit V Division RCMP colleagues hosted a bike rodeo at Nakasuk Elementary School. Kindergarten and Grade One students got a chance to learn some basic bike safety, and to have some fun outdoors with the officers.

If you’re driving, please remember to keep an eye out for people on bikes this summer, and thank you to Nakasuk School for the fun day.
