Jimmy Kilabuk Fun Run/Walk
June 13, 2025 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit is proud to host the annual Jimmy Kilabuk Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., starting at the AWG Arena (2804 Niaqunngusiariaq Road).

Participants of all ages are welcome to choose their preferred distance:

   5 km
   3 km
   Kids' 1 Mile

Registration is $25, with all proceeds donated to the Jimmy Kilabuk Children’s Recreation Fund. This fund supports Inuit children and families on income assistance by helping them access programming at the Aquatic Centre, including pool passes, swimming lessons, aquatic leadership programs, and more.

How to Register:

   Scan the QR code on event posters
   Sign up in person at the Aquatic Centre’s Guest Services desk

Participants are encouraged to register early to ensure a smooth check-in process on event day.

What to Know for Event Day:

   Please bring your own water and dress appropriately for the weather
   Strollers are welcome
   If you have questions about accessibility or event participation, please reach out to Guest Services
