Items Left at the Causeway

May 29, 2026 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

Community members who have items stored near the causeway boat launch are asked to take a moment to check the area shown in the attached photo.

The items of concern include derelict vehicles, propane tanks, tires, and miscellaneous debris. Operational boats, ski-doos, and qamutiiq may remain where they are.

Removing these items helps keep the causeway safe, tidy, and usable for residents, families, and visitors heading to the water.

To help care for this shared community space, we kindly ask owners to remove these items by Friday, June 12, 2026, or to contact Municipal Enforcement before that date to make arrangements.
