Inclement Weather – City Office Closures

March 10, 2026 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

16:00 – All City offices and recreation facilities are now closed due to inclement weather.

Essential services, including snow removal, water distribution, wastewater collection, garbage collection, and emergency services, remain operational at this time. Residents be advised that delays may occur, and additional service shutdowns may be necessary if weather conditions worsen.

Residents are encouraged to stay off the road where possible.

The City thanks residents for their cooperation and understanding as we work to ensure the safety of our community.
