Good Friday and Easter Monday Holiday Hours

April 01, 2026 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

 

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents that City offices will be closed to the public on:

·         Friday, April 3 for Good Friday

·         Monday, April 6 for Easter Monday

Despite these closures, residential water and sewer services, as well as garbage collection, will operate on their regular schedules.

The Iqaluit Aquatic Centre will be open both days from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

The Makkuttukkuvik Youth Centre will be closed on Friday, April 3

The Arctic Winter Games Arena and Arnaitok Arena will offer regular programming on Friday evening after 5:00 PM, and throughout the weekend but will be closed on Monday.

The City wishes all residents a safe and enjoyable long weekend.
