Full Road Closure – Sinaa Street Between Umiaq Crescent and Umiaq Crescent
March 3, 2026 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

 

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents a complete road closures (map below) affecting Sinaa Street between Umiaq Crescent and Umiaq Crescent. These closures are necessary to ensure the safety of residents during the filming of scenes for the “North of North”.

 

There will be intermittent closures in effect from Saturday, March 7 2026, at 4:00PM to 8:00PM.

Residents, businesses and their visitors will still have access to their properties; however, they may expect to encounter slight delays, to allow for the conclusion of filming activities.

Trucked services will continue to service the affected areas.

The City of Iqaluit apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks residents for their understanding.
