Fire Response – 157 Nipisa – Fire Extinguished
March 26, 2024 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit Fire Department responded to a fire at 157 Nipisa, just before 8:00 AM on Tuesday, March 26th.

The City would like to inform residents that the fire has been extinguished and there were no injuries resulting from the fire. Residents may notice continued steam rising from the area of the incident. The area will be placed under 24/7 monitoring until deemed safe to discontinue.

Residents are asked to stay clear of the area and not approach the scene of the fire.
