Dog Tags Restocked at City Hall and Iqaluit Operations Centre
June 25, 2025 – Iqaluit, Nunavut
The City of Iqaluit is pleased to inform residents that dog tags are once again available for pick-up.
Tags can now be obtained at both City Hall (Building 1085) and the Iqaluit Operations Centre (Building 1549).
We would like to thank the community for its patience during the recent shortage. The continued demand for dog tags reflects growing awareness of the updated animal control bylaw and the importance of proper pet identification.
Registering your dog helps ensure that, if they become lost, they can be identified and returned to you quickly. We encourage all dog owners to pick up their tags as soon as possible.
