Come See What Keeps Iqaluit Running – Show & Shine
August 14, 2025 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit invites residents to the third annual Show and Shine on Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the new Operations Centre (Building 1549).

Come explore the newly unveiled facility, meet the operators behind essential city services, and get up close to the equipment that keeps Iqaluit running. Hot dogs will be available, and job opportunities will be showcased on site.

Transportation:
A limited number of taxi vouchers from Caribou Cabs will be available at the event on a first come, first served basis.

Parking:
Parking is available at Building 1549. Please refer to the parking map provided for designated areas. Carpooling is encouraged.

Safety Note:
Children must be supervised at all times. Please do not climb on equipment unless an operator is present.

Rain or shine — indoor space is available if needed.
