City Office Closure - Thanksgiving

October 8, 2026 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit would like to inform residents that City offices will be closed on Monday, October 12, 2026, for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Please note that residential water and sewer services, as well as garbage collection, will operate on their regular schedule. The Iqaluit Aquatic Centre will be open from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

As we take this time to reflect on what we value most—our community, our land, and our connections with one another—we wish all residents a peaceful and restful day.
