Canada Day Competition Winners
July 6th, 2020 – Iqaluit, Nunavut
The City of Iqaluit’s Recreation Department would like to congratulate the winners of the Iqaluit Celebrates and Iqaluit Decorates competitions from Canada Day on July, 1st, 2020.
The winners of the Cake decorating contest are as follows:
First Place: Jennifer Lindell
Second Place: Erin Keenan
Third Place: Jamie Fortier
The winner of the Car Decorating contest was Robyn Mackey.
Prize winners can contact the Recreation department at 979 5611 or recreation@iqaluit.ca to coordinate receiving their prize.
We also want to congratulate everyone who participated in our fun run!
The fastest times for each race are as follows:
10 KM: Troy Rhoades – 44 minutes, 42 seconds
5 KM: Lisa Schellenberger – 24 minutes, 21 seconds
3 KM: Sean Clark – 12 minutes, 50 seconds
