Temporary Closure of Aquatic Centre

March 9, 2026 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

 

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents that the Aquatic Centre is temporarily closed this morning due to unexpected repairs required in the facility.

City staff are currently working to address the issue as quickly as possible so the facility can safely reopen for the community. An update will be provided at 11:00 AM regarding the anticipated re-opening of the facility.

The City of Iqaluit apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks residents for their patience while staff work to safely reopen the Aquatic Centre.
