Aquatic Centre Programming Cancellation
May 26, 2026 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents that all scheduled pool programming at the Aquatic Centre will be cancelled on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

The cancellation is required to accommodate an internal staff Swimming Instructor course. This training will help increase the number of certified instructors and support the expansion of swimming lessons and aquatic programming available to the community.

Regular programming will resume on Sunday, May 31, 2026.

The City of Iqaluit appreciates residents’ patience and understanding as we continue working to improve aquatic programming opportunities for our community.
