Access Vault Work – QGH Clinic Entrance

September 28, 2026 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

 

The City of Iqaluit would like to let residents know that work will take place near the clinic entrance at Qikiqtani General Hospital on Tuesday, September 29 and Wednesday, September 30.

Crews will be exposing an underground access vault so it can be safely accessed for work.

The clinic will remain open and accessible during this work.

Part of the clinic parking lot entrance will be temporarily closed while the work is underway. There will be no changes to regular traffic flow, but motorists should expect a minor disruption when entering or leaving the clinic parking area.

Please follow posted signage, use caution when travelling through the area, and be mindful of workers and equipment.
