2022 Business License Renewals

The City of Iqaluit would like to remind residents that it is the time of year for business licence

renewals for the 2022 calendar year.

 

Business owners are encouraged to submit renewals in the online Iqaluit Business Licence system

before January 31st, 2022 to take advantage of a discounted renewal fee. Renewals received on

February 1st, 2022 and later, will be subject to the full renewal fee.

 

As per City of Iqaluit Business Licensing By-Law No. 859, all businesses must have their 2022 licence

by February 15th, 2022 or be subject to fines By-Law No. 859. All renewal applications received

after the February 15th, 2022 deadline will be subject to a $50.00 administrative fee in addition to

the applicable renewal fee.

 

Business customers can access the online system by going to https://www.iqaluit.ca/content/applybusiness-

license and completing the online application/renewal forms. All information regarding

the online business licence system is published on the City’s website under the Business page.
