Paint Can Exchange Program Date Change to Saturday, August 22

Please be advised that there is a date change for the City’s Paint Can Exchange Program to be held on Saturday, August 22nd, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Airbase Garage (City Garage) located at Four-Corners. This is a change from the original date of Friday, August 21st.

Residents are invited to drop-off, exchange, or pick-up paints at the event. City Staff will safely dispose of all leftover paints.

Participants are welcome to leave a cash donation for the Jimmy Kilabuk Children’s Recreation Fund.

Liquid paint must be sealed in the original can or another spill-proof container with the contents clearly labelled. We accept paint intended for interior and exterior walls, varnishes, sealants, and stains, including dried out paint and empty cans.

Paints can also be disposed at the dump during business hours by leaving containers with a City Staff member. Please do not flush chemicals down your toilet, sink or drain as they harm the environment and may damage the pipes in your home.
