Trucked Services Delay – Staffing Shortage

September 23, 2026 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

 

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents that, due to staff illness, wastewater collection (sewer) services are operating at a reduced capacity today.

Residents may experience delays as crews continue their scheduled routes and work to maintain service across the community.

Residents on trucked services are asked to limit wastewater output where possible today.

The City of Iqaluit thanks residents for their patience and understanding.
