Temporary Leisure Pool Closure – Aquatic Centre
August 18, 2026 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

 

The City of Iqaluit would like to inform residents that, due to unforeseen circumstances, the leisure pool at the Aquatic Centre will be closed for maintenance and cleaning, effective immediately.

The leisure pool will remain closed for approximately 24 hours while the necessary cleaning and disinfection process is completed. Programming in the leisure pool is expected to resume tomorrow evening once the 24-hour period is complete.

All other Aquatic Centre programming will continue as scheduled.

We appreciate your understanding as we carry out the necessary work to ensure the leisure pool is clean and ready for use.
