Canada Day Celebration Events
June 24, 2026 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

 

The City of Iqaluit Recreation Department invites the community to celebrate Canada Day with organized events on Wednesday, July 1st, 2026.

 

Below is an event schedule for events, hosted by the City of Iqaluit, on Wednesday, July 1st, 2026:

 

• 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Pancake Breakfast at Qajuqturvik Community Food Center
• 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Bike Decorating Contest at AWG
• 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Canada Day Parade
• 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: BBQ and FF Department Chili Handout at Nakasuk
• 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Bouncy Castle at Nakasuk
• 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Face Painting and Kid’s Games at Nakasuk
• 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM: Mascot Meet and Greet in Town Square
