Land Applications Open for On-the-Land Facilities
April 24, 2026 – Iqaluit, Nunavut
The City of Iqaluit reminds non-profit organizations offering land-based programming that land applications remain open for On-the-Land Facilities until May 8, 2026.
On-the-Land Facilities are small, permanent or semi-permanent structures designed to support activities such as outdoor recreation, traditional practices, cultural camps, and similar community-serving programs on the land.
Eligible non-profit organizations are encouraged to apply for land in designated areas to develop spaces that enhance cultural, recreational, and land-based programming opportunities for the community.
There are two intake periods each year:
- Spring 2026: February 16 to May 8
- Fall 2026: June 2 to December 1
