Winter Day Camp – Updated Registration Deadline
February 4, 2026 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

 

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents that the registration deadline for the 2026 Winter Day Camp has been moved up and will now close at the end of the day on Tuesday, February 10.

This change has been made to ensure families have sufficient time to make alternative childcare arrangements if their child is not selected for the program.

Registration is available through ActiveNet, which can be accessed by visiting www.iqaluit.ca and clicking the “Recreation Online Registration Portal” link on the main landing page. Residents may also register in person at the Aquatic Centre front desk during regular hours, where staff can assist with creating an account if needed.

Following the close of registration, a lottery selection process will take place. Only those selected for the program will be contacted, on Wednesday, February 11.
