Recognize a Community Champion: Volunteer Appreciation Award

Celebrate the heart of our community. Nominate a volunteer today.

The City of Iqaluit is proud to announce that nominations are now open for the 2025 Volunteer Appreciation Awards.

Do you know someone who goes above and beyond to make a difference in our community? Take the time to recognize their efforts by submitting a nomination.

All residents are encouraged to submit nominations. Individuals, families, organizations, and community groups are all welcome to participate.

Award categories include:

   Youth Award
   Sports and Recreation
   Arts and Culture
   Service Organization
   Great Helper
   Community Development

Nomination period: September 22 to October 13, 2025

Paper copies are also available at City Hall.

Award recipients will be recognized at a community celebration in November 2025.
