Speed Bumps Now In Place
June 22, 2023 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit would like to remind residents that our seasonal speed bumps are now in place. Our seasonal speed bumps can be found in roughly 25 locations throughout Iqaluit, and in most residential neighbourhoods.

With warmer weather arriving, it is important that motorists keep their eyes open for youth. Youth are a big part of the City. According to Statistics Canada, 24% of Iqaluit residents are 14 years old or younger. The speed bumps are one way to help keep them safer this summer, your safe driving is another.
