Holiday Schedule – Recreation Facility and Program Closures
December 19, 2022 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents of the holiday hours and closures, to recreation facilities and programs, over the winter holidays.
Aquatic Centre
 December 24: Holiday Hours (12:00PM- 4:00PM Fitness Centre. No Swims available.)
 December 25: CLOSED
 December 26: CLOSED
 December 27: Holiday Hours (12:00PM-4:00PM Fitness Centre, 1:00-3:00PM Public Swim)
 December 28 – 30: Regular Hours
 December 31: Holiday Hours (12:00PM-4:00PM Fitness Centre, 1:00-3:00PM Public Swim)
 January 01: CLOSED
 January 02: Holiday Hours (12:00PM-4:00PM Fitness Centre, 1:00-3:00PM Public Swim)
 January 03: Regular Hours resume.

Arenas (AWG and Arnaitok) and Facility (Abe Okpik Hall and Elders’ Qammaq) Rentals
All other Recreation facilities will be closed to the Public and for rentals on the following dates:
 December 24 – 27
 December 31
 January 1 & 2

Makkuttukkuvik Youth Centre and Elders Qammaq Programming
The Youth Centre and the Elder’s Qammaq will be closed to programming on the following dates:
 December 23- January 9th
