2024 Business License Renewals

The City would like to remind business owners that the online portal for business license renewals for the 2024 calendar year is now open!

Business owners are encouraged to submit renewal applications in the online Iqaluit Business License system before January 31, 2024 to take advantage of a discounted renewal fee. Renewal applications received on February 1, 2024 and later, will be subject to the full renewal fee.

As per the City of Iqaluit Business Licensing By-Law No. 859, all business must have their 2024 license by February 15, 2024 or be subject to fines laid out in By-Law No. 859. All renewal applications received after the February 15, 2024 deadline will be subject to a $50.00 administrative fee in addition to the applicable renewal fee.

Business owners can access the online portal by visiting https://business.city.iqaluit.nu.ca/ and completing the online renewal application.

Renewal applicants must provide an updated copy of their 2024 WSCC Certificate of Compliance along with their application for approval.
