Chief's Message:

Welcome to our service!  We are a proud, diverse, and busy service providing emergency response to this beautiful community. We all live and play here and have a deep desire to enhance our communities public safety.  Whether you are a full time resident, visiting worker, or a tourist we are here to provide you a caring response to your emergency.  Our work is done in coordination with the communities other emergency services including Municipal Enforcement, RCMP, Airport Fire, Office of the Fire Marshall, and various other City Departments. We are very active for our small size and manage the remarkably wide variety of challenges our services face from ever growing numbers of medical calls to fires, vehicle incidents, hazardous material spills, among many others. You can help up by being fire safe, pulling over for emergency vehicles with their lights and siren on, staying clear of workers and hazards during emergencies or perhaps considering joining our ranks.

Lastly, We ask you to make a personal commitment to the safety and resiliency of your family. Make sure you have working smoke alarms on every level of your home and talk with your family about what to do if there is a fire or other emergency in your home.
